WHAT THIS IS AND WHAT THIS ISN’T

This website IS a collection of personal events from my time as an Army spouse. I will be sharing what I have learned and what I have gone through during my husband’s time at basic training and AIT - also known as OSUT. As well as sharing information regarding the ceremonies that I attended and how I navigated different bases and the surrounding areas.

This website IS NOT official Army information. I do not know and will never claim to know every thing. What you read on here is strictly my personal experience.

This website IS a place to find “up to date” information on how things MIGHT go for you and your soldier. This website is also a place to read and know you aren’t alone in any of your feelings.

*** I also want to make it known that my husband’s MOS was 11B. So, a lot of my knowledge will come from Infantry side of things.***

***My husband also got a 18x contract. So, I will be discussing the 18x pipeline that we went through.***

Throughout these posts I have removed my husbands name and replaced it with “K”. So, when you see K I am referring to my husband.
